((Pun)) No Fucking Mushrooms (버섯은 씨발 없다구)

Pun 은 영어 말장난(wordplay) 입니다. 외국인들이 일상대화중에 Pun 쓰는 것을 아주 좋아하죠~ 

 

 

A stockboy is stacking fruit on a display, when a lady asks "Do you have any mushrooms? " 

점원이 진열대에 야채를 진열하고 있는데, 한 여자가 물었다. "버섯 있어요?"

 

The stockboy replies "Sorry ma'am, we are out of mushrooms, but we will be getting a shipment tomorrow morning".

점원이 대답했다. "죄송한데요 아줌마, 버섯은 없어요, 내일 아침에 올거에요."

 

The lady looks around some more. A few mins later she runs back to him asking where the mushrooms are.

여자가 좀 더 둘러보더니, 몇분후에 그에게 다시 와서는 버섯이 어디에 있냐고 물었다.

 

The stockboy confused about her mental state simply tells her "Sorry ma'am, we are out of mushrooms, but we will be getting a shipment tomorrow morning".

그녀의 정신상태에 당황스러워 하며 점원이 그녀에게 말했다. "죄송한데요 아줌마, 버섯은 없어요. 하지만 내일 아침에 올 거에요."

 

The lady looks around some more then goes back to the same stockboy and asks "Where the hell do you keep the mushrooms, I need some mushrooms right now!"

여자가 좀더 둘러보더니 그 점원에게 다시 와서는 물었다. "도대체 버섯은 어따가 둔거야, 난 당장 버섯이 필요하당게!"

 

The stockboy, getting frustated with his inability to explain the situation, tells the lady "Answers a couple of questions and I will get you your mushrooms from the back."

더이상 상황을 설명하는것에 지친 점원은 여자에게 말했다. "내 질문 몇개에 대답하면 뒤에서 버섯을 갖다 줄게요."

 

The lady agrees and the man starts the questions.

여자가 동의하고 점원이 질문을 시작했다.

 

"Spell cat for me, as in catastrophe."  She says Ok, "C A T".

"catastophe 에서 cat 스펠링을 말해보세요." 그녀는 "C A T" 라고 말했다.

 

"Very good!" the stockboy says, "now spell dog, as in dogmatic. "

"아주 좋아요!" 점원이 말했다. "이제는 dogmatic 에서 dog 스펠링을 말해보세요."

 

The lady getting frustrated spells it correct.

여자는 좀 당황스러웠지만 정확히 스펠링을 말했다.

 

Now the employee finally asks "now spell, Fuc, as in mushrooms. "

마지막으로 점원이 물었다. "이제 mushrooms 에서 fuc 스펠링을 말해보세요."

 

She replies "There is no Fuck in mushrooms?"

여자가 대답했다. "There is no Fucking mushrooms?"

 

To which the stockboy replies "THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU THE WHOLE TIME!"

점원이 대답했다. "그말이 내가 지금까지 쭈~욱 하려고 했던 말이거덩요!"

여자는 "mushrooms 단어에는 fuc 단어가 없는데" (no "fuc" in mushrooms) 라고 했지만,

문장을 빠르게 말하면 fuc in 이 fucking 으로 들리기 때문에

실제로는 "버섯은 씨발 없다구" (no fucking mushrooms) 라고 말한 것과 같아짐 ㅎㅎ
